Dinosaur Tracks and Trackway Locations

While dinosaur tracks were first identified in the United States, they have since been found throughout the rest of the world. In North America alone tracks have been found as far south as Texas and as far north as Alaska. To find out more about if your area contains tracksites start with your local museums, bookstores and libraries or try contacting your state’s geological survey, a local geological society, or the geology department of a local college or university. The figure above is a Location Map of easily accessed Tracksites in North America
